Volunteers Wanted - Income Tax Program

Volunteer Opportunity

Income Tax Program

Our community volunteer income tax program can’t run without capable volunteers to assist us! Tax returns are very important, particularly for individuals with lower incomes, as completing your income tax is the key to accessing many government-funded programs and services.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least one half-day (3 hours per week) during March and April in 2015 (Monday to Friday).

A computer and access to a printer will be provided by the Saskatoon Food Bank.

Previous experience in completing simple tax returns is beneficial.  You will also be required to attend a training session with the Canada Revenue Agency to learn about changes for the 2014 tax year and the tax software used, as well as a volunteer training session at the Saskatoon Food Bank.

If this volunteer opportunity interests you, please contact Adina, the Volunteer Income Tax Program Coordinator.
