The Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre (SFBLC) wants your feedback!
Wed. February 4th 2015 - Station 20 West (1120 20th St.)
Two sessions: 10 a.m. - 1 a.m. & 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Over the past 30 years the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre has become an integral part of our community. At the SFBLC we believe it’s time to look at the issue of community food security with a new lens. For the past year we have been exploring new ways of operating that expand our impact beyond redistributing of food and programmatic responses. We invite you join us and give your feedback on current SFBLC programming, and offer your insights as we continue to evolve.
Join us for a Community Consultation Open House on Feb. 4, 2015 at Station 20 West (1120 20th St.). There will be two sessions at 10am-1pm and 5pm-8pm. These sessions will be come-and-go, with short presentations at 10:30am and 5:30pm.
We believe that by transforming the way our food bank functions we can enhance our contribution to a healthy food system, expand learning opportunities, strengthen social connections and build community wellness. We all want to live in a community where food banks are unnecessary. A community where everyone has access to safe, appropriate, nutritious food. How can we progress to that end?
There will be many opportunities at these sessions to offer your feedback on SFBLC programs and services while we present some results from our research. We hope you can offer your suggestions as we move forward. Your feedback is very important to us.
RSVP Appreciated. Everyone Welcome.
