Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre (SFBLC) is kicking off the annual Light It Up holiday campaign!! ‘Light it Up’ is one of the most important fundraisers of the year, helping support SFBLC’s vital programs and services.
As the cost of living continues to rise, more families in Saskatoon are reaching out for help to meet their basic needs. Every day, the SFBLC provides emergency food hampers, income tax resources, and learning opportunities to support individuals and families through difficult times.
How It Works
The Light It Up Christmas campaign will centre around engaging local companies in a simple idea that supports the Saskatoon community.
The burden of creativity during the holidays is a small but heavy barrier for most companies, and with this new initiative, organizations can give back through a fun and engaging fundraiser. What you will receive:
• A 5ft, full-colour, Christmas tree poster
• Various sheets of multi-coloured light stickers
• Fundraising Kit instructions
The Christmas tree poster is hung in a high traffic area. When a donation is received, whether it’s food or funds, a lightbulb sticker is added to the tree, visually showcasing the collective impact.

support the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre’s vital programs and services.
Food Donations
Smaller Food Donations
Non-perishable food donations in smaller quantities can be brought to the main entrance door at the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre Located at 202 Avenue C South, Saskatoon. Donations can be placed in the red cart beside reception.
Larger Food Donations
Food donations in large quantities can be brought directly to the warehouse door located at the back of the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre, accessed using the back alley off of 21st St. W.
Monetary Donations
Credit Card, Cash, Cheque
Monetary donations can be made via Credit Card on our donation page by clicking here.
Cash or Cheque Donations can be delivered to The Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre at 202 Avenue C South, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1N2
A tax receipt will be issued within 10 days for donations greater than $20.
E-transfer
E-transfers can be sent to our Financial Administrator, Lorri Baird, at lorri.b@saskatoonfoodbank.ca. Please provide your email address and email in message.
